Matt Kentner
Matthew A. Kentner is a founding member of Kentner Wyatt, LLC. Matt began his career with David A. Kraft and Associates, LLC where he specialized in both commercial and consumer collections. He has represented creditors in over 2000 cases and knows the ins and outs of how creditors think and negotiate.
Matt received his degree in Entertainment Management with an emphasis in Sports Management from Missouri State University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the Vice President of the Entertainment Management Association his senior year. Matt is barred in the states of Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association.
Matt grew up on a small dairy farm outside of Lamar, Missouri. He played 3 sports in high school and still loves to be involved in anything competitive. Matt is a part owner (and skater) of Fountain City Roller Derby, a co-ed roller derby league based in Independence. Matt also enjoys weight-lifting, competing in competitions such as the Tough Mudder, traveling, and spending time with his four nephews and nieces. In the Fall of 2015, Matt will begin teaching Sport Law at Rockhurst Unversity to undergraduate students.
